　　Company History: The company was formerly known as the Shenjun Trailer Factory of the Wuhan Jiang'an Vehicle Plant under the Ministry of Railways. It was initiated and established by China South Locomotive & Rolling Stock Corporation as a joint-stock enterprise operating under a modern corporate governance system. The “Shenjun” brand semi-trailers have been in production for nearly two decades. Since 1982, when the company introduced prototype trailers from the U.S. firm STRICK, it began manufacturing the “Chaoli” brand JG3040 container semi-trailers, which received certification from a Commonwealth testing agency and were exported in bulk to Hong Kong and neighboring markets. The company is the second domestic manufacturer of international-standard container semi-trailers. In 1989, the company triumphed in the international bidding for container transport semi-trailers at Ningbo Beilun Port, marking the beginning of its dominance in the domestic semi-trailer market.
